I require an emergency appointment, what should I do?
If you are an existing NHS patient and are currently undergoing a course of treatment with the practice, you will not be charged an emergency appointment fee. However, if the emergency is unrelated to your current course of NHS treatment, the applicable NHS Urgent Treatment Fee may apply
New patients requiring an emergency appointment will be charged a private emergency appointment fee of £47, plus the cost of any additional treatment required during the appointment.
If you are a new patient wishing to join the practice but do not require an emergency appointment within 48 hours, the emergency appointment fee will not apply. In this case, you can book a routine new patient examination in the usual way.
